Learn more about makeup artist Jennifer Janesko.

I adore the power of cosmetics, the power it gives us to transform. This transformation can be as subtle as a good brow that opens your eye or it can turn you into a sultry diva for that one special night. I live my philosophy - Using quality products, specific to the result you want to achieve, yields optimal results in a reasonable time. What works best differs from person to person, although I can recommend some amazing products that will satisfy everyone.

I have had an obsession with all things fashion and style as far back as I can remember. I spent a good majority of my youth in art classes and honed my creative skills by attending an art college. I finished college with a degree in fashion design but remained in the illustration world by starting my own freelance company directly after graduation.

My official makeup training took place at Fred Segal in Santa Monica, CA. Experience followed as I took jobs with photographers shooting among the palms in Jamaica, Belize and good old Kansas City.

I approach cosmetics as I approach art - the entire body is a canvas and makeup is just one element of an entire image. Hair, clothing, accessories, and personality are an extension of makeup and vice versa.

I enjoy guiding clients towards what is most flattering for them and showing them a process that can be simplified with the right products. Let me be the one to obsess about the latest products, trends and techniques and then create the perfect look for you. I pride myself on being able to adapt effortlessly to any client situation. My signature look is more natural, with an emphasis on a key feature. I am an artist who likes to explore the extreme and most subtle definitions of transformation. I have been fortunate to be involved in several concept shoots and body painting events and the idea of the unexplored drives me forward. You can see more of this in my gallery.

Currently, I am working on several exciting projects, which includes developing a line of my own products. I would love to be part of your project too, so feel free to contact me.
